DOJ’s New Regulations

There isn’t a whole lot I want to say on this subject but I do just want to make a quick note. The Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security can’t even keep illegal immigrants out of the United States but they think they can keep completely legal firearms from entering Mexico? Rather amusing and funny if you think about it.

Obama on Guns

There’s not much I praise President Obama for, but there is one thing he has done a good job of doing and that’s staying out of the gun issue. We all know what Obama’s stance on firearms as a whole but since becoming President, even as candidate Obama, he has stayed as far as possible away from the Gun issue.

Mexican President wants U.S. Background Checks at Gun Shows

First off, where does the Mexican President get the nerve to tell the United States that our guns laws aren’t strict enough? How can someone from a country so taken over by drug cartels begin to tell us how we should do things?

EOTech XPS3-2 Holographic Sight

So, you have gone through the motions of justifying the purchase of a ‘Modern Sporting Rifle’ for home defense. Perhaps your property is big enough that a shotgun might not reach out and touch someone at distance. Or perhaps the look of a black gun will even further intimate any intruder to go farther. But really, say what you will, it is badass to be able to play with the same equipment our troops use to annihilate the bad guys in the sandbox.

Ruger Announces LC9

Coming soon to the ruger line-up is the LC9 a sub-compact version of the SR9. Can’t wait to get our hands on this bad boy for some testing! These things are hard to come by. Hopefully our supplier can get one in soon so we can bring you the review!

ISSC M22 .22LR Review

I have always liked shooting .22LR for target practice; it’s doesn’t bust the wallet, it’s easy to load, and easier to group for training purposes as well as just having fun at the range.

I had just recently sold my Walther P22 in favor of the .380 but still missed having a .22LR for fun at the range.

So when asked to review the ISSC M22 .22LR I was quite happy to get my hands on it.

FN Herstal FNP-9 Review

First off, I think everyone should know that this is my first experience with an FN so I’m coming at it with no bias toward the brand or past experiences to judge by.

First off I must say that the visual appeal of this gun was outstanding; I think that is what drew me towards this gun in the first place as I’m not really a huge fan of guns with hammers. The stainless steel on this gun is remarkable and flawless. The gun’s weight isn’t too bad; as far as the trigger pull it is rather heavy in both single and double action but over all a good feel to the pull.
