SPERAS B8 Headlamp – Best on the market?

By Allan Smith

We have previously done a review on Speras Lighting, specifically there P4 High Performance light and was impressed with the quality. So when they reached out again with a new product, we looked forward to checking out their new release.

Speras Lighting sent us the new the B8 headlamp which we found to be a powerful rechargeable headlamp with a maximum output of 700 lumens and a beam throw of up to 70 meters.  It certainly can throw some light and it offers six different light sources: spotlight, floodlight, spotlight+floodlight, red, green, and blue.

Charging via the USB-C port has a protected rubber cover and takes around 2 hours for a full charge.  Charging cord does come with the camera!

You have a one-step click to turbo mode via a separate touch key and supports a memory mode for convenience.

The elastic headband was comfortable and easily adjustable.

Overall, This little headlamp is well made of impact resistant plastic and is nice and compact to take with you anywhere you need. We keep headlamps in each vehicle, bug out bag, as well as in the House near the back door.

On the bottom when charging, the LED indicators will indicate the charge level and once again as USB – C and not older micro USB standards, this eliminating the need for multiple cables in our drawer as most items today charge via USB-C.

Either hiking, biking, walking, running at night, camping, emergency repairs on the side of a road, the Speras B8 for the price point has you covered at around $35.00.
