The Kansas House is said to be considering a bill which would expand the public places where concealed carry permit holders can carry. The bill was debated Wednesday and a vote is expected Thursday.

The bill would allow school districts and state colleges to designate employees who could carry concealed firearms inside their buildings, even if such weapons were banned for others.

The measure also would expand the number of public buildings where people with a state permit could bring concealed weapons.

This would be a great step for Kansas and the law-abiding citizens of Kansas. I know other states are also considering similar legislation in regards to concealed carry places.
