On the eve of the new year and the impending Shot Show 2017, Smith & Wesson (soon to be American Outdoor Brands Corp.) has dropped what appears to be their new M&P pistol on Academy’s website. However, it has since been taken down from their site. No doubt an ‘error’ made by Academy as Smith & Wesson has been silent since the drop on the site.
Before the gun was taken down the product page listed the following details:
The Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 9mm Semiautomatic Pistol features an M&P M2.0 trigger and includes both a control-enhancing grip texture and 4 interchangeable palm swell grip inserts. This striker-fired pistol also includes a corrosion-resistant Armornite finish and boasts a steel-white dot front sight and steel-white 2-dot rear sight.
