VETS TACTICAL – CUPOLSTER

SHOT SHOW 2024 sure didn’t disappoint and another innovative company exhibited a new product known as the Cupolster from Vets Tactical.

One of my biggest frustrations is conceal carry in a vehicle. There are products on the market, but I don’t want to drill, screw or bolt in a holder for my Glock or Sig. So whats the option?

Speaking with Craig Washburn and his wife at SHOT they were kind enough to offer a couple sample products for us to evaluate. After returning home we were a bit skeptical, but yet excited to see how these would work in our vehicles. The first thing it reminded me of is the Weathertech phone holders and kodos to Vets Tactical for see an opportunity here.

So we had two CUPOLSTER’S to work with. One for a SIG P365xMacro & a Glock 43 with a TLR. The wife and I both have jeeps and hers a newer Grand Cherokee and mine an older Wrangler JK. As you’ll see from the photos, the CUPOLSTER fit perfectly in both vehicles. When inserting either pistol into the holder, it was solid and the thing I liked most is that the holder didn’t move when rapidly lifting the pistol out.

I believe its been a challenge for most folks to find a quality product that will allow them to swiftly and efficient retrieve their firearm from their vehicle. As we know when seconds matter most, your sidearm needs to be easily accessible without trying to find it on the seat next to you or stuck between seats.
Its designed with an ergonomic cant and is designed and positioned to for the firearm to be angled and prevent aukward bending or reaching, additionally you don’t need to take your eyes off the road or a threat to retrieve your sidearm. It’s literally right next to you for easy and immediate access!

As I had mentioned above, the last thing I wanted to do was drill holes in my firewall and with the CUPOLSTER there is no need for adhesives or screws. You can customize your vehicle’s cup holder with their sizing tools and again NO permanent alterations to your car’s interior. Just pop it in and it securely stays in place.
It’s was easily transferable between vehicles. Another badass feature is the ambidextrous Cupolster BRAVO SERIES features a fully covered trigger guard allowing cross-draw positioning adapted to right or left-handed drivers and front-seat passengers.

I believer Craigs company has a winning product here and can’t wait to see what they roll out next.
