With our anticipation of the launch of the new AMG UH-1 “Huey”, we were excited to hear about the their new Gen II line of Viper PST Optics, Diamondback Line, and a new Red Dot. My wife currently is running a Vortex PST 1-4×24 on her AR, but the new 1-6×24 PST is looking mighty nice. Let’s take a look at some of their new line of Products:

I’m really excited to try out the Gen II 3-15×44 EBR-4 Reticle on my 300 Blackout build. I was initially looking at the 2.5-10×44 EBR-4 PST for my 300, but this 3-15×44 is looking better. The Viper Turrets are open, audible, and has adjustable parallax. The fiber optic turret rotation indicator lets the shooter keep track of turret position a lot easier. Also, looking at the Huey up close and personal, it is a little “grainy” and normal eye relief and with the 3x Magnifier behind it, it’s actually quite clear. So I’m not sure what’s up with that, but the general consensus a the show for the Huey is they held up really well at Media Day and held zero the entire time. Hopefully, we’ll be able to get one of these new optics this year to test out and review.

As always, ya’ll be good and be safe!

I was born and raised in NC and I have grown up around firearms with shooting BB guns at the age of around 3-4. I serve my county as a Paramedic and work part-time at my local gun shop. I have been writing for Epic Tactical since May 2016 and have been doing firearm reviews on YouTube for about the same amount of time. My enthusiasm is geared towards the medical side, yet I am always there to help out new shooters find that perfect gun and work on their technique. My wife usually accompanies me to the gun range and she is always there to help female shooters with their techniques and to answer questions.
