North Carolina Sheriff Candidate Agrees to Killing Citizens for exercising Constitutional Rights

A video posted originally by The Red Elephants Facebook page is going viral. In that video you can see candidate for Sheriff of the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office talking about his beliefs for gun control. He goes on to mention a famous quote from Charlton Heston during an NRA event that stated: “I have only five words for you: From my cold, dead hands”. Fisher repeated the phrase and stated “Okay.”

What’s most troubling is this man wouldn’t even be the one taking the firearms from these law abiding citizens. He would be sending his deputies to do his bidding and putting them in harms way. I think Buncombe and the country need to take a long hard look and ask themselves, is the bloodshed really going to be worth it?

Fisher has tried to provide some damage control and seems to be trying to play this off as some kind of sick joke, but according to his Facebook page comments most of the people aren’t buying the “clarification” from the wannabe Sheriff.
