Orlando Terrorist Attack: Where is the outrage?

Every one by now should have heard of what has happened in Orlando, FL over the weekend, 6/12/2016. It is very tragic and sad. I feel like we, as Americans, have let each other down. We have become so politically correct that it sickens me. We are afraid to help each other. We are eager to tear each other apart and blame inanimate objects, instead of finding the real root to this problem at hand.

When the WTC fell, when the Pentagon was hit, and an Airplane that went down in a field, we, as American’s, rose up to say, “enough is enough and United We Stand!” Yet, yesterday, our President of the United States, said, “Today marks the most deadly shooting in American history. The shooter was apparently armed with a handgun and a powerful assault rifle. This massacre is therefore a further reminder of how easy it is for someone to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school, or in a house of worship, or a movie theater, or in a nightclub. And we have to decide if that’s the kind of country we want to be. And to actively do nothing is a decision as well.” The POTUS also said, “Although it’s still early in the investigation, we know enough to say that this was an act of terror and an act of hate. And as Americans, we are united in grief, in outrage, and in resolve to defend our people.” So if it was an act of terror, and we knew this piece of trash had radical ties, then why was he ever able to get his hands on any weapons in the first place? How was this terrorist ever allowed to become a security guard?

So, President Obama’s Administration is now, again, going after law abiding citizens and the 2nd Amendment, instead of going after the one’s responsible for this malicious attack on the US. America, again, where is the out-cry? Where is the outrage towards our Government for not finding these terrorists and not putting them in their place, if they know they are out there? After the Paris attacks, the French Government went out, searched and destroyed those parasites that attacked their beloved city and their citizens! Why aren’t we doing the same? Why are we not upset about the second deadliest attack since 9/11? Why are we trying to disarm the same people who could potentially save the home-front during an at home attack?

Cain killed Abel with a rock. If someone has hatred in their heart, it doesn’t matter what weapon of choice someone uses: be it a hammer, axe, crowbar, pipe wrench, fertilizer, etc. People kill people, clear as day. Why not ban doctors? They kill more people with malpractice than anything else. Why not ban automobiles, because I respond to more automobile accidents that involve fatalities than I do gunshot victims? Why not ban McDonald’s food because it’s causing us to have hypertension and hyperlipidemia, thus causing heart attacks and strokes. Same thing about cigarettes. Cigarettes cause the same problems as McDonald’s food and are giving Americans more smoke related illnesses and death. Why not ban alcohol to deter the drunk driving fatalities? Remember Prohibition? More deaths arose from prohibition due to alcohol related incidences. Why not make meth, marijuana, heroin, and cocaine illegal? Oh wait, it is illegal, yet I am responding to more overdose calls that involve some sort of illegal drug than, you guessed it, a gunshot wound call.

I can place a loaded weapon on my kitchen table and leave it there all day…and it will not go off nor will it kill anyone, “so it is obviously defective.” If the idea to harm others is in someone’s head and heart, then it will be done. Majority of the people who have guns, follow the rules that are set. So when something happens at a “gun free zone,” we, as Americans, blame the guns. When in reality, it’s going to take a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun. When are we, as Americans, going to wake up and see what is happening in front of us.

Times are changing. America is about helping and protecting each other, not about beating each other down. It’s about being an American. Standing up for our freedom’s and not running away in the face of danger. If you aren’t prepared by now, there is still some time left to change and be prepared. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I love my Wife, and I love my Family. I will protect any of our freedoms that might be infringed upon. I will protect my Wife. I will protect my Family. If you need any help with finding out ways to protect yourself and your family, I’m just a message away. I will be glad to help you out in any way, shape, or form and try and point you in a direction to help you prepare. Think about it folks! Times are a changing and they may not be for the good! It’s not too late! Be prepared!

Stay vigilant my friends! As always, ya’ll be good and be safe!
